SDC premium grade Emlocks are compatible with virtually any access control and are designed to meet both security and life safety code requirements. With no moving parts the Emlock provides years of maintenance free operation and will release immediately when de-energized by an access control or a signal from a fire life safety system, ensuring uninhibited egress. SDC Emlocks include patented and proprietary features. Including: the only magnetic core design that stabilizes both the physical construction and the resulting magnetic force, enabling the lock to be stressed repeatedly to the separation point without causing reduction of the holding force; the only modular design that enables lifetime serviceability and upgradeability without removing the lock from the frame; self drilling and self tapping mounting screws; adjustable mounting plate to ensure proper alignment; interlocking EZ mount assembly that ensures stress is distributed evenly across the lock face and provides a means of positive attachment while leaving both hands free to tighten the built-in mounting screws.
