Was curious of how these mag locks are controlled. Is it simply 2 wires supplying 24V and ground? And controlling it simply a matter of controlling that 24V signal? Just wanted to confirm.

Correct, the lock will require a 2-wire connection (+ & -) either 12VDC or 24VDC input. Typically you would keep the (-) connection constant and then switch the (+) wire through various control devices like buttons, keypads, motion sensors, etc. For further assistance with building a complete system please give us a call direct at 1-866-500-5625
