Can you wire a second REX button to the system?

Yes, you can wire an additional exit button to this kit (see part# TS-2). You can also add an under-desk mount button for remote release (see part# HUB)

If I understand the operation correctly, you can set it up so the lock STAYS de-energized until you push the button and then the lock STAYS locked as long as there is power available?

When the system is powered the maglock would remain in the "locked" position. Pressing the wireless remote would unlock the maglock for a few seconds to allow entry. To de-energize the maglock permanently you would have to cut power to the power supply. For further assistance with this kit please give us a call at 1-866-500-5625
