The SDC universal surface mount electric bolt locks are available in failsafe and failsecure. The addition of a card reader, digital keypad or remote control provides access control and convenience of use for a variety of applications. Q Jaymie Schrot • 03/15/2021, 2:02:44 PM Do the surface mount electric bolt locks come with an electrical supply converter, and can the be mounted in any position on the door (left, right, top, bottom)?

A 03/16/2021, 5:03:40 PM The 180/280 bolt locks will come with a PR-1000 Power Regulator, designed to increase solenoid lifespan. Required Input Voltage on the PR-1000 is 12/24 VDC/AC (+/-10%) DC voltage is recommended for optimal performance. *Note, you will still need to purchase a power supply to provide this input power (sold separately). These locks are designed for a Header Mount, Side-Jamb or Top-Jamb mount with the bolt shooting to the left, right or top-down. They are not recommended for a bottom mount where the bolt would shoot in the upwards position.
